The Hardee’s restaurant located on Highway 41 North in Resaca has closed as of this week, according to officials.
The closure follows ongoing financial issues tied to ARC Burger, the company that purchased Hardee’s out of bankruptcy several years ago. In late 2025, Hardee’s terminated its agreement with ARC Burger due to those financial difficulties, leading to the shutdown of numerous restaurant locations across several states, including Georgia, Illinois, and Kansas.
Hardee’s has since filed a lawsuit against ARC Burger seeking $6.5 million in unpaid royalties, rent, and marketing fees.
