A closure along U.S. Highway 41 will remain in place Tuesday as crews continue roadway repairs near East Line Street.
Crews will continue working on a portion of the roadway at the intersection of U.S. 41 and East Line Street on Tuesday, September 29. The closure affects U.S. 41 between East Line Street and State Route 156.
The roadway is now expected to remain closed until approximately 6 a.m. Wednesday, September 30.
A detour remains in place for motorists traveling through the area.
Northbound drivers on U.S. 41 should turn left onto East Line Street and then take the State Route 136 Connector north to C.L. Morris Parkway. Motorists will then turn right onto State Route 156 before reconnecting with U.S. 41.
Drivers should allow additional travel time, use caution around the work zone and follow all posted detour signs.
The closure was originally scheduled to end Tuesday morning but has been extended as crews continue the necessary roadway repairs.
