Today is Tuesday, November 4, 2025, and it’s Election Day across Gordon County! Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and every vote makes a difference.

Important Reminder:
Voters in the City of Calhoun should cast their ballots at Belmont Baptist Church, not at the Calhoun Recreation Center.

Today’s election includes General Municipal Elections for Calhoun and Fairmount, as well as several countywide referendums:

  • The FLOST penny tax

  • The continuation of the ESPLOST tax

  • A Special Election for Homestead Exemption for both the Gordon County and Calhoun City school systems

All registered voters in Gordon County are eligible to participate in these ballot measures.

Additionally, voters will see a statewide special election for the Public Service Commission, the state agency responsible for ensuring Georgians have access to safe, reliable, and fairly priced telecommunications, electric, and natural gas services.
