The Lutzie 43 Foundation will bring its Safe Driving Summit to Calhoun High School on Friday, November 21, aiming to strengthen awareness around responsible driving as the holiday travel season approaches. The program arrives at a time of year when roadway accidents historically increase, offering students timely guidance on how to stay safe behind the wheel.
During the Summit, students will learn about the consequences of unsafe driving behaviors through real-world incidents shared by the foundation. The event will also introduce attendees to the 43 Key Seconds Safe Driving Initiative, a program designed to encourage drivers to take a brief moment before starting their vehicles to ensure they are fully prepared and focused on the road.
The foundation’s visit reflects an ongoing effort to equip young drivers with practical tools and knowledge that can help prevent accidents. Through personal stories and structured instruction, organizers aim to empower students to make thoughtful decisions that protect both themselves and others on the road.
