NWGA Center for Independent Living to Host Gordon County Spotlight Meeting

The Northwest Georgia Center for Independent Living (NWGACIL) will host a Gordon County Spotlight community meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2026, from 12:30 to 2 p.m. at the Gordon County Library, located at 100 N. Park Avenue in Calhoun.

The meeting is open to the public and will focus on key community topics, including housing, transportation, emergency preparedness, and community access. The forum aims to inform residents, encourage open and constructive discussion, and raise awareness of local resources that promote independence and accessibility.

Community members are encouraged to attend and participate in the discussion, which is designed to support individuals with disabilities as well as the broader Gordon County community.
