The Gordon County Coroner’s Office has identified the pedestrian killed in a traffic incident Tuesday afternoon as 41-year-old Jason Lee Souther of Calhoun, Georgia.
Authorities confirmed that Souther was struck while walking along U.S. Highway 41 North on September 23, 2025.
The Coroner’s Office stated it will continue working closely with the City of Calhoun Police Department as the investigation moves forward. Officials also extended their condolences and support to Mr. Souther’s family during this time.
