The Gordon County Sheriff’s Office (GCSO) confirms that a pedestrian was fatally struck by a train on the railroad tracks just north of Resaca. Deputies and other first responders remain on the scene as the investigation continues.
Authorities are working to identify the victim. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
