Hamilton Medical Center, a part of Vitruvian Health, has appointed Ricardo Perez, DO, JD, FACOI, as its new chief medical officer.
Perez most recently served as regional chief of hospital medicine at Jefferson Health–East Region in Stratford, New Jersey, a role he held since July 2023.
He holds a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey School of Osteopathic Medicine, a Juris Doctor from Rutgers School of Law in Camden, and a Bachelor of Science in biology from the College of New Jersey in Ewing.
In his new role, Perez will oversee clinical quality and performance improvement, medical staff services, accreditation, hospitalists, and intensivists. He is also fluent in Spanish.
