Sheriff Mitch Ralston announced that a Plainville woman was taken into custody Thursday morning after a two-month investigation by the Gordon County Sheriff’s Office Drug Enforcement Unit.
Detectives executed a search warrant at a residence on Moore’s Ferry Road, where they reportedly uncovered a significant quantity of methamphetamine packaged for distribution, along with marijuana intended for distribution, hallucinogenic mushrooms, and anabolic steroids.
The occupant of the home, April Kuykendall, 36, of 383 Moore’s Ferry Road, was arrested at the scene. She now faces multiple charges related to drug trafficking and distribution.
Authorities also noted that Kuykendall was currently serving a probation sentence for previous drug-related convictions at the time of her arrest.
The investigation remains ongoing.
