Sugar Valley, GA – Norfolk Southern has identified a rail defect at the crossing located at 3050 Sugar Valley Rd NW, Sugar Valley, GA 30746. In order to complete necessary repairs, the railroad crossing will be closed to all traffic on Thursday June 26th from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
This will be a full road closure—no vehicles will be able to cross the tracks during the repair window. Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes and plan accordingly to avoid delays.
