Adairsville residents received an early holiday surprise this weekend with the official opening of six brand-new pickleball courts on Legacy Way. The highly anticipated addition was celebrated Saturday with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by leaders from both the City of Adairsville and Bartow County.

The project was made possible through a collaborative partnership between the two governments, reflecting a shared commitment to expanding recreational opportunities for the community. Local officials praised the effort as a win for residents of all ages, noting the growing popularity of pickleball across the region.

With the courts now open to the public, community members are invited to visit the new facility, grab a paddle, and enjoy one of the nation’s fastest-growing sports.

The City encourages everyone to “get your game on” and take advantage of this new recreational space just in time for the holiday season.
