The Voluntary Action Center (VAC) is seeking additional sponsors to help ensure every child in its annual Operation Happy Christmas program receives gifts this holiday season.
According to the VAC, several children are still waiting to be matched with sponsors. The program provides holiday assistance to local families, ensuring that children who might otherwise go without can experience the joy of Christmas.
Community members who wish to sponsor a child can do so by contacting the VAC directly. Sponsors may call 706-659-2001 or email [email protected] for more information or to be matched with a child in need.
VAC staff expressed gratitude for the community’s continued support and emphasized the importance of helping brighten the holidays for children across the area.
