The Calhoun-Gordon County Public Library is blooming with activity this April, offering a full calendar of free programs for all ages.
From fitness favorites like Workout with Nancy and stretch classes, to creative outlets like Art with Emily and Paint with Whitney, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Families can take part in interactive events like Family Nerf Wars, Plant Swap, and weekly Trivia, while kids can dive into fun with Pokémon Club, Baby Lapsit, and hands-on art workshops.
Teens and tweens also have plenty to explore, including DnD sessions, crafting activities, and even a Young Adulting: Car Maintenance class. Adults can join social groups like Knit & Crochet, Veterans Coffee, and book club discussions.
Special highlights include a Poetry Seminar with Will Burk, themed art classes throughout the month, and community-focused events like Paw Angels. The library will be closed April 3 for Easter and April 25 for BBQ Boogie & Blues, with an early closure on April 24.
All events are free, with select programs requiring registration. The library is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
