Residents and motorists are advised that SunRise Circle will be closed to traffic on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, as the roadway undergoes a non-skid service treatment. The closure will be in effect from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
During this time, motorists are encouraged to park at Antioch Baptist Church before 8:00 a.m. if they anticipate needing access to their homes during the closure. Gordon County Public Works will provide a shuttle service between the bottom of SunRise Circle and the church, ensuring residents can reach their homes safely. After the treatment, shuttles will also be available to return residents to their vehicles.
Officials acknowledge that road closures may cause temporary inconvenience and thank residents for their patience and cooperation while this important safety project is completed.
