Early voting continues for the Public Service Commission Primary. Saturday is the last early voting day. The latest indications locally and statewide show very low turnout numbers. This election – statewide – is the resolution of years of litigation involving the Commission. The Gordon County Board of Education hosts a public hearing on the proposed budget. The system opted out of HB581. The meeting is at 6pm at the GCBE office just west of Sonoraville High School. The summer feeding programs for all county and city students is ongoing. After a few logistical adjustments, the two School systems have settled the routes and pick up locations and times.
