Calhoun Fire Department, Calhoun City Police, and the City of Calhoun Building Inspector responded to the downtown CVS on Tuesday after a truck crashed into the front of the building.
Emergency crews arrived to find significant damage to the storefront, prompting an immediate response to secure the area and assess structural safety. Officials confirmed that no serious injuries have been reported at this time.
Authorities are urging drivers to use caution when traveling through the downtown area as crews continue working on scene.
CVS will remain closed until the City of Calhoun Building Inspection and Calhoun Fire Department clear the structure for safe reopening.
