
GORDON COUNTY, GA — The National Weather Service (NWS) has confirmed that two EF1 tornadoes touched down in Gordon County on Sunday, May 25. One tornado occurred in the Red Bud area, while the other touched down in the county’s southwest quadrant.
Both tornadoes have been preliminarily rated EF1, indicating wind speeds between 86 and 110 mph. No official details have been released yet regarding the exact paths, durations, or the extent of any damage caused by the storms.
