Deputies with the Gordon County Sheriff’s Office and officials with the Gordon County Coroner’s Office are investigating an unattended death at a private residence on Webber Road near Plainville.
Gordon County Sheriff Mitch Ralston said deputies and coroner’s officials responded to the residence Sunday. Authorities have not released any information about the identity of the deceased or the circumstances surrounding the death.
Sheriff Ralston emphasized that there is no one at large and that there is no danger to the public.
