Calhoun, GA – September 5, 2025 — United Way of Gordon County will host an upcoming Impact Meeting to help local residents navigate health insurance and Medicare during life’s transitions.
The session, titled “Health Insurance/Medicare Through Life’s Transitions,” will be presented by Sharon Hensley, also known as the North Georgia Medicare Girl. The program will take place Thursday, September 11, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Calhoun Depot, 109 South King Street, Calhoun.

The ABC’s of Medicare
Enrollment guidance
Coverage options
Understanding personal healthcare needs
How to change existing coverage
