The Voluntary Action Center (VAC) has announced details for this year’s Operation Happy Christmas Program, which will provide holiday assistance for families in Gordon County.
Parents must attend one required class before receiving an application. Class dates and times are available online at www.voluntaryactioncenter.org/christmas-assistance.
This year, VAC has 600 spots available for children. To qualify, families must meet the following guidelines:
Applicants must live in Gordon County.
Children must be school-aged and either attend a school in Gordon County or be homeschooled.
Families cannot apply for assistance through any other Christmas program. Applications will be denied if families apply to multiple agencies.
