The Voluntary Action Center (VAC) is calling on the community to help restock essential items for its Food Pantry as the holiday season approaches.
For the month of December, the pantry is especially in need of three staple items:
Cream of mushroom soup
Cream of chicken soup
Canned cranberry sauce
Donations may be dropped off during regular business hours at the VAC, located at 343 South Wall Street in Calhoun.
VAC officials say that community support is crucial during the winter months, when the demand for food assistance typically increases. All contributions will help support local families facing food insecurity this season.
