They claim the targeted individual has missed a court appearance and must make an immediate payment to avoid arrest. Officials stress that these calls are fraudulent and advise anyone who receives one to hang up immediately and never share personal or financial information with unfamiliar callers.
South Calhoun Baptist Church will open its Clothes Closet to the community on Saturday, December 20, providing free clothing and winter essentials to anyone in need. The giveaway will take place from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the church, located at 500 Pine Street. Items available will include clothing for men, women, and children of all ages, as well as coats and blankets to help families prepare for colder weather. The event is open to the public, and everything is offered at no cost.
