Ansley Kathryn Sproull Morrison
April 22, 1983 — November 29, 2025

Ansley Kathryn Sproull Morrison, age 42, departed this life on Saturday, November 29, 2025.

She was a graduate of Calhoun High School, the University of Georgia, and Kennesaw State University with degrees in fine arts. In addition to her skill and vision in the visual arts, she was a gifted writer, but she considered her prime creative achievement to have been becoming the mother of John Alvin Morrison, her four-year-old son.

She was an artist, a practitioner of yoga, an avid reader, a devoted wife, mother, sister, and daughter, a loving friend to a circle of lifelong friends, and a recently returned church member who was deeply invested in spiritual growth. She lived her life with passion and had so many plans. She looked forward to the rest of her life.

She is survived by: her husband, Douglas Morrison; her son, Jack; her parents, Ken and Kathy Sproull; her brother, Taylor Sproull and sister-in-law, Martha Sproull; aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of loving friends.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.

Ansley cared deeply for the health of the planet, so anything anyone can do to make this world a healthier place to live, she would value those contributions.
