Mr. David Allen Lutz, age 70, of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away at Advent Health Gordon Monday morning, April 28, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
David was preceded in death by his mother, Iris Golding; his sister, Donna Lutz; and his granddaughter, Arianna Fincher.
He is survived by his father, Bradley Lutz of Pattison, Mississippi; his daughter and son-in-law, Anna and Isaiah Fincher; his son, Hunter Lutz; and his grandson, Waylon Fincher, all of Calhoun, Georgia. He is also survived by his brother, Dewitt Lutz of Tampa, Florida; sister Diane Lutz of Pattison Mississippi; and his loving partner, Ida Underwood; and Diane Pankey, the mother of his children.
David proudly served his country as a United States Marine and later worked as an electrician. In retirement, he found joy in searching for relics and old coins. Above all else, he cherished the time spent with his grandson Waylon, who was the light of his life.
A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mr. David Allen Lutz will be held on Monday, May 5, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. from the Ponders Calhoun Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 p.m. until the service hour.
