Hugo Rivas, 73, of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, November 15, 2025. He was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, on March 13, 1952, to the late Alberto Rivas and Aida De La Cruz.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Maria Cardenas; son, Joshua Rivera; daughters, Annette Rivas and Kisha Hammett; sisters, Ines Rivas and Nereida Rivas; grandchildren, Jordan Garcia, Brielle Garcia, Jayde Garcia, Blaze Hammett, Blake Hammett, and Bleu Hammett.
To honor his wishes, his body was cremated, and no formal service was held.
