Imogene Thompson Patterson
January 15, 1935 — February 1, 2026

Imogene Thompson Patterson, age 91 of the Oostanaula Community, GA, passed away on Sunday, February 1, 2026.

Imogene was born on January 15, 1935 in Gordon County, GA, daughter of the late Horace Patterson and Geneva Thompson Patterson. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by: two brothers, Warren G. Patterson and Hollis Patterson and his wife Patricia; and nephew, Russell Patterson. Imogene graduated high school from Oostanaula School and continued her education at Berry College. She worked for the IRS for over 30 years as an auditor. She was a lifetime resident of the Oostanaula Community and of the Baptist faith.

Imogene is survived by: her two nieces, Rachel McNeese and her husband Jeff and Regina Harrison and her husband Tom; nephew, Randy Patterson and his wife Tracy; great-nephews, Trey Patterson, Hunter McNeese and his wife Anna, and Cody McNeese and his wife Rae.

The family would like to give special thanks to The Oaks of Fairmount for their care of Imogene.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 from 4 PM until 6:30 PM at Thomas Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at 6:30 PM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Reverend Michael Hunt officiating.

The family will have a private graveside service.
