James Edgar Muse, Jr., 55, of Ranger, Georgia, passed away on Monday, August 11, 2025. He was born in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, on June 01, 1970, to the late Edgar and Janie Martin Muse, Sr.
He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Bridget Muse; sons, Daniel (Sabrina) Dowdy, Dewayne (Angel) Dowdy; daughters, Dana (Andrew) Nelson, Breanna Muse, Nicole Sexton; grandchildren, Dawson Dowdy, Bryce Nelson, Harley Nelson, Dakota Dowdy, Isabella Wallen, Kinley Avens, Gabriel Bohannon, Blaze Hampton, Kaelynn Sexton; great-grandchildren, Nova Dowdy, Oakland Dowdy; several brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews also survive. James was a member of Corinth Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends on Friday, August 15, 2025, from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 15, 2025, at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home with Bro. Dino Bishop officiating.
