Jane Whittle
August 4, 1941 — March 4, 2026

Jane Whittle, 84, of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2026. She was born on August 4, 1941, to the late Frank and Mary Wheat. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Terry Eugene Whittle; brother, Kenneth Wheat.

Jane is survived by her sons, Terry Whittle Jr. and Danny Lee Whittle; brother, Steve Wheat; brothers-in-law, Frankie Whittle and Mike Whittle; sister-in-law, Brenda Wysong; grandchildren, Jessica and Jeremy Whittle; great-grandchildren, Jayden and Jaylen Whittle; several nieces and nephews.

Jane spent over 40 years of her life in Marietta. She was a member of Sugar Valley Baptist Church and prior to retirement, she was a banker for GB&T Bank.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 7, 2026, from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.

The funeral service will follow on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Mitch Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in Sugar Valley Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers are Michael Brent, Toby Holsomback, Lawrence Kyle Lawless, Steven Wheat, Jeremy Whittle, and Jayden Whittle.

The Brannon family and staff are honored to serve the family of Jane Whittle.
