Joseph "Joe" Hiram Voyles, age 92 of Marietta, GA, passed away on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at Camellia Place Senior Living of Woodstock.
Joe was born on September 21, 1933, in Copper Hill, TN. In addition to his parents, Joe was also preceded in death by his wife, Louise Cross Voyles. Joe was a veteran of the United States Army. He loved traveling, western movies, working in his yard, and, above all, his wife. He was an active member of Blackwood Springs Baptist Church.
Joe is survived by: his son, Richard “Rick” Voyles, and his wife Janet; daughter, Cheryl Voyles; grandchildren, Marissa Stratton, Chris Coryell, Rachel Voyles, Kristie Cramer, and Ashley Voyles; and 19 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 20, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Thomas Funeral Home.
A celebration of the life of Joseph will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at 2 PM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Reverend Paul Whitten officiating. Burial will follow in Fain Cemetery.
