Kathy Sue Massey, 64, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, November 26, 2025. She was born in Cleveland, Tennessee, on December 27, 1960, to the late Charlie and Dorothy Wheeler. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Becky Wheeler (Paul).

Kathy is survived by her loving husband, James Oliver Massey Jr.; son, William Christopher “Chris” West (Starla); daughter, April Michelle West (Kyle); brothers, Donnie Wheeler (Ruth) and Roy Wheeler; sisters, Nadia Kilgore (Philip) and Sharlene Wheeler; grandchildren, Chloe Elizabeth Emelander and Asher James Robert Stanley; special nieces, Heather Wheeler and Rebecca Stevens; and special aunts, Mary Helen and Linda.
