Keith “Scooter” Adam Peterson, 39, of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, October 18, 2025. He was born in Harlan, Kentucky on October 30, 1985, to Darrell and Sandra Peterson.
He is survived by his sons, Dylan Adam Peterson and Alex Lim Peterson; parents, Darrell and Sandra Peterson; brother, Kevin Peterson; special cousin, Bobby Parker; special friend, Kirk Clayton.
Scooter was a hard worker that could fix anything. He enjoyed fishing and playing basketball. He excelled at video games and was Sony’s fifth ranked player. He loved life and lived it to the fullest. He also had a love for shoes and had an extensive collection. He was a member of Holiness Faith Church.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. T.J. Burchett officiating. Terry Williams will be in charge of music. Burial will follow in Chandler Cemetery. Pallbearers serving are Bobby Parker, Jamon Pritchett, Robert Peterson, James Owens, David Hensley, and Kirk Clayton.
