Larry Paul Higdon, age 73 of Calhoun, GA, passed away on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at Hospice Care Center of Chattanooga, TN.
Larry was born on August 30, 1951 in Ocilla, GA, son of the late Paul Higdon and Dorothy Silvers Higdon.
Larry is survived by: his son, Christopher James Higdon and his wife Madonna Higdon; daughter, Lynde Chasity Hembree; brother, Tony Higdon; sister, Linda Higdon; grandchildren, Morgan McKeehan and James and Erin Higdon; great-grandson, Noah Richard; niece, Lisa and David Garland; nephews, Michael and Tuddie Hooker and Kyle and Chasity Higdon; several great-nieces and great-great-nephews and great-great-nieces also survive.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 from 4 PM until 8 PM at Thomas Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be conducted on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at 10 AM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Reverend David Garland officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery.
