Linda Hicks Parker, 79, of Rome, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, July 27, 2025. She was born in Calhoun, Georgia, on December 2, 1945, to the late Chester and Maybell Hicks. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Jimmy Brookshire in 1970, and Kenneth Parker in 2018; brothers, Swan Hicks, Bob Hicks, Billy Hicks, Oneal Hicks; sister, Joyce Holbert.
She is survived by her daughters, Shelia Allen, Jeanie Johnston, Wendy Turner; 14 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
To honor her wishes, her body was cremated, and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
