Linda Teresa Squires, age 77 of Resaca, GA, passed away on Monday, March 23, 2026 at her residence.
Teresa was born on April 13, 1948 in Orlando, FL, daughter of the late James Lester Hubbard, SR and Nellie Morrison Hubbard. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Billy Sturgill; and brother, James Lester Hubbard, II. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Teresa is survived by: her husband, James Squires; three sons, Robbie Sturgill, Frank Sturgill, Michael Sturgill; daughter, Sarah Wimpy; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 26, 2026 from 5 PM until 7 PM at Thomas Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be conducted on Friday, March 27, 2026 at 10 AM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Larry Hayes officiating.
Sturgill Funeral Home of Wise, VA will be in charge of graveside services and will be announced later.
