Nicholas Parker
December 12, 1967-February 12, 2026

Mr. Nicholas Lee Parker, age 58, of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Thursday evening, February 12, 2026, at Calhoun Crossing Nursing Facility.

Nicholas was born on December 12, 1967, to the late Bud and Mary West Parker. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Doug Johnson, and his sister, Marcelle Pate.

Nicholas will be remembered as a devoted father who loved his son deeply and did his very best for him every day. He never met a stranger and could strike up a conversation with anyone willing to listen. His gift for storytelling and connection left a lasting impression on those who knew him.

A proud graduate of Calhoun High School, Nicholas played football for the Calhoun Yellow Jackets — an accomplishment he carried with him throughout his life. He treasured his team jacket and the memories of Friday night lights, camaraderie, and hometown pride.

He is survived by his beloved son, Adam Parker, whom he loved and cherished beyond measure; his sister, Marie Ray of Calhoun, Georgia; and his longtime friend since high school, Marc Long of Adairsville, Georgia.

In honoring Nicholas’s wishes, the family has chosen to hold no formal services at this time.

He will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.
