Rebecca Loraine Parker Lee
April 18, 1970 — June 25, 2025

Rebecca Loraine Parker Lee, 55, of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2025. She was born in Rome, Georgia on April 18, 1970, to the late Benny Robert “Bobby” Parker and Marilyn Smith Parker. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mary Sam Smith and James Smith, Eva and J.R. Parker; infant brother, Gary Robert Parker.

Rebecca was a bright ray of sunshine to anyone she met. Her smile, her laughter, her sassiness, her kindness, and her ability to light up every room made her so special. Her favorite soap opera was Guiding Light, and that is exactly what she was. She was selfless in every sense of the word, even while dealing with complications of Multiple Sclerosis. She did not allow MS to define who she was or stop her in any way. Rebecca lived a beautiful life.

Rebecca is survived by her husband of 33 years, Michael Edward Lee; mother, Marilyn Smith Parker; son, John Lee; daughter, Teesha Tinch (Dallas); sisters, Jamie Freeman (Tony), Amanda McBurnett, Cindy Palmer (Tommy), Melanie Beamer (Jeff); sister in law, Tina Lovell; grandchildren, Madylin Evans, Ava Evans; nieces and nephews, Blake Davis (Devon), Chelsea Etheridge (Montana), Katie May (Randy), Kristen Thomason (T.J.), Kent Hand, Parker McBurnett. Emily McBurnett, J.T. Palmer, Taylor Cochran, Bogen Cochran, Logan Knight (Molly), Peyton Farrior (Hunter), Caroline Lance (Jackson), Lucy Beamer, Nora Beamer, Stephanie Strickland, Heather Green, and Ryan Lovell. Several great nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends on Friday, June 27, 2025 from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM from Grace Church.

Funeral services will be held following the visitation on June 27, 2025, at 3:00 PM from Grace Church with Rev. Jeff Dutton and Pastor Tim Reid officiating. Burial will follow in Chandler Cemetery. Pallbearers are J.T. Palmer, Parker McBurnett, Kent Hand, Blake Davis, Logan Knight, Bogen Cochran, and John Lee. Honorary pallbearers are Tommy Palmer, Tony Freeman, Jeff Beamer, Dallas Tinch, and Bo Nicholson.

The Brannon family and staff are honored to serve the family of Rebecca Loraine Parker Lee.
