Retha Estell Gravitte, 78, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, December 21, 2025. She was born in Calhoun, Georgia, on May 10, 1947, to the late William and Verna Corn. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, J.C. Gravitte; brothers, Jack Corn, Johnny Corn, Wilbur Corn; sisters, Betty Payne, Barbara Spearman.
She is survived by her son, Jason (Laura) Gravitte; daughter, Tammy Torres; brothers, Robert Corn, Luke Corn; grandchildren, Rafael Torres, Brandy Torres, Samuel Torres, Madison Gravitte, Jaycee Gravitte, Corbin Gravitte; great-grandchildren, Noemy Torres, Marian Torres, Kaylin Torres, Liam Torres, Levi Torres, Gabriela Estelle Torres.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.
Funerals services will be held on Wednesday, December 24, 2025, at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons with Rev. Ronnie Nix officiating. Burial will follow in Scotts Cemetery. Pallbearers serving are Samuel Torres, Rafael Torres, Tim Corn, Samuel Barnes, Nacho Torres, and Daniel Franco.
