Robert David “Bob” Fain, age 60 of Calhoun, GA, passed away on Monday, February 23, 2026, at his residence.
Bob was born on February 7, 1966, in Calhoun, GA, son of the late Robert Melvin Fain and Elsie Geneva Moore Fain. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Wanda Sue Fain. Bob enjoyed camping, boating, car shows and old cars but especially loved his family.
Bob is survived by his wife of 35 years, Miranda Watson Fain; son, Preston Dylan Fain; daughter, Whitney Leigh-Ann Young; three grandchildren, William James Young, Natalie Marie Young, and Finnick David Young; and three sisters, Sharon (Steve) Baker, Sheila (Rusty) Smith, and Wanda (Curtis) Stewart. Several nieces , nephews, as well as several great-nieces and nephews also survive.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, from 12 PM until 2 PM at Thomas Funeral Home
Funeral Services will be conducted on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at 2 PM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Reverend Bobby Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Chapel Cemetery.
Pallbearers serving include Mark Watson, Lucas Watson, Jake Watson, Samuel Watson, Presley Greeson, and Hunter Benton.
Honorary Pallbearers include Toby Henson and Gary Moore.
