    Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke.

Robert Morris Adams, age 86 of Calhoun, passed away on Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at his residence.

Robert was born on February 16, 1939 in Gordon County, GA, son of the late George Benjamin Adams and Loretta Patterson Adams. He was a graduate of Calhoun High School Class of 1957. Robert was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Prior to his retirement he worked for The Associated Press. Robert was a quiet family man who enjoyed spending time outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping, and being with his family.

Robert is survived by: his son, Robert David Adams and his wife Brenda; daughter, Robin Elizabeth Wilson; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

The family will have a private service to celebrate Robert’s life.
