Rolando Sontay- Alvarado, 62, of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, May 14, 2025. He was born in Totonicapan, Guatemala, on January 22, 1963, to the late Juan Longino Sontay and Maria Alvarado.
He is survived by his children, Ingrid Dralely Sontay, Juan Gudiel Sontay, Rolando Sontay, Marvin Sontay, and Maria Josefa Sontay; siblings, Auvelio Sontay Alvarado, Oralia Sontay Alvarado Marta Sontay Alvarado, Yohana Sontay Alvarado; nephews, Evelyn Caralo Perez Sontay, Maria Adelina Perez Sontay, lmri Zorohabel Pere ntay, Juan Jose Perez Sontay, Rony Anthony Vicente Sontay, Maritza Sontay Escobar, Juan Aurelio Sontay Escobar; nieces, Maria Isabell Sontay Escobar, Amalia Beatriz Sontay Escobar, Auvelio Sontay Escobar, Ingrid Dranely Vicente Sontay, Leyda Karina Vincente Sontay, Jennifer Fabiola Vicente Sontay, Daffne Kimberly Vicente Sontay, Daray Marisol Vicente Sontay, Annalee Gomez Sontay, and Caden Gomez Sontay; grandchildren, Eisen Vicente Sontay, Kaleb Vicente Sontay, Haddassa Vicente Sontay, Jazmin Pana Alonzo, Emily Perez Sontay, Marcelo Perez Santoy, Tabella Vicente Perez, Nataly Vicente Perez, Merlyn Martina Vicente Santoy.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 17, 2025, from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.
The funeral service will follow on Saturday at 3:00 PM from the Chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Chandler Cemetery.
