    PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS
    Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke.
Sally Tralmer Lindsey
October 3, 1945 — March 8, 2026

Sally Tralmer Lindsey, age 80 of Calhoun, GA, passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2026 at AdventHealth Gordon.

Sally was born on October 3, 1945 in Sparta, WI, daughter of the late Slyvester Tralmer and Norma Schoot Tralmer. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, John M. Lindsey; infant son, Alex John Lindsey; brother, Calvin Tralmer; and brothers-in-law, Cyril Hart and Michael Philps. Sally graduated from Tomah High School in 1963. She then went on to graduate from Vera Duane Academy of Hair Design in Minneapolis, MN, where she enjoyed a career in both Minneapolis and Atlanta prior to going to work for Lockheed Martin. She was of the Catholic faith. Sally enjoyed cooking, crocheting, sewing, and gardening. She also loved baking cakes for all family birthdays. She also liked to get together with her neighbors and play dominos. Most of all Sally enjoyed watching all of her grandchildren’s swim meets and various other activities they have done over the years. She was one of the most selfless people, a wonderful mother and grandmother.

Sally is survived by: her daughter, Leanne Cox and her husband Hank; three grandchildren, John Henry Cox, Lindsey Cox, and Morgan Cox; two brothers, Corwin Tralmer and his wife Marlene, and Arthur Tralmer and his wife Mary; two sisters, Luanne Hart, and Kathleen Philps; and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Wednesday, March 11, 2026 at 2 PM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Reverend George Gray officiating.

Graveside Services will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2026 at 1:30 PM at Danburg Baptist Church Cemetery in Washington, GA.
