Scarlett Colleen Snell, age 77 of Calhoun, GA, passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2026 at her residence.
Scarlett was born on June 14, 1948 in Calhoun, GA, daughter of the late Joel Hugh Connally and Jean Burch Connally. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by: her son, Jeffery Deland Benton; and daughter, Zina Francis Snell. Scarlett adored her grandchildren and truly loved people.
Scarlett is survived by: her granddaughter, Jeannie Smith; great-granddaughter, Haley Sheriff and her husband Jacota Howington; three great-great-grandchildren, Colton Dyer, Mason Stewart, and Paisley Howington; and two brothers, Mike Connally and his wife Linda, and Rex Brookshire.
The family will receive friends on Friday, February 27, 2026 from 11 AM until 1 PM at Thomas Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be conducted on Friday, February 27, 2026 at 1 PM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Reverend Tim Gowens officiating. Burial will follow in Chandler Cemetery.
