Shirley Mae Proctor Driggers
July 8, 1928 — February 23, 2026

Shirley Mae Driggers, age 97, of Calhoun, GA, passed away on Monday, February 23, 2026, at The Fountains.

Shirley was born on July 8, 1928, in Weirsdale, Florida, daughter of the late Ethelle Proctor and Shirley Remington Proctor. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Andrew L. Driggers, and a daughter, Deborah L. Pace. Prior to moving to Gordon County, GA, Shirley lived in Winter Haven, Florida. She loved everything Florida Gators and Boston Celtics. Above all, her family was the most important part of her life. Shirley was a devoted member of Belmont Baptist Church in Calhoun, Georgia and the Calvary Baptist Church of Winter Haven, Florida.

Shirley is survived by her son, Dale R. (Gail) Driggers; daughter, Julie (Carl) Kessler; brother, Eddie Ray (Ruth) Proctor; sister, Fay Mosley; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, from 12 PM until 1 PM at Bank/Page Theus Funeral Home at 410 N. Webster St., Wildwood, FL.

Funeral Services will follow at 1 PM from the Chapel of Bank/Page Theus Funeral Home at 410 N. Webster St., Wildwood, FL with Reverend Derrell Strickland officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Level Cemetery in Oxford, FL.
