Shirley Maxzine Fountain, 85, of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away Friday, July 11, 2025. She was born in Waleska, Georgia, on September 18, 1939, to the late Jack and Daisy Garland. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Pat Glass. She was a member of Calhoun Full Gospel Church.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Joe Fountain; daughters, Debbie (Robbie) Duke, Kay (Ronnie) Rittenhouse; grandchildren, Josh Brown, Chris Rittenhouse, Trevar Ullom; great-grandchildren, Caylee Brown, Cassidy Bennett.
The family will receive friends on Monday, July 14, 2025, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at 1:00 PM from, the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Hershell Pierce officiating. Burial will follow in Haven of Rest Memorial Park. Pallbearers serving are Josh Brown, Chris Rittenhouse, Mandy Born, Michelle Meadows, Eddie Wright, and Drew Campbell.
