September 17, 1954 - December 6, 2025

Mrs. Teresa Pitts, age 71, of Resaca, Georgia, peacefully departed this life on Saturday afternoon, December 6, 2025, at AdventHealth Gordon in Calhoun, Georgia.

Teresa was born on September 17, 1954, in Corona, California. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bobby and Morita (Marie) Welma Lawson Everett; her brother, Bobby Everett; and her sisters, Tylee Walton and Ginger Muysken.

She loved watching Christmas movies all year long and found great joy in baking for those she loved.

She is survived by her husband, Amos Dean Pitts Jr. of Cherokee, Alabama; her daughter, Lisa and Eric Satterfield of Resaca, Georgia; her sons, Michael and Anna Ivey of Shannon, Georgia, and Jeremy Ivey of Alabama; step-sons, Amos Pitts and Andrew and Frances Pitts. She is also lovingly remembered by her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A private gathering to honor her life will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are entrusted to Ponders Calhoun Chapel.
