Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke.

December 17, 1958 — April 1, 2025

Tonie P. Green Hall, 66, of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, April 1, 2025. She was born in Rome, Georgia on December 17, 1958, to Joann Pirkle Green and Jimmy Green. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her sons, Jason Prickett, Eric Prickett, and brother, Mike Green.

Tonie loved nature, music, playing the piano, singing, reading, and spending quality time with her family. She was a member of the 1976 graduating class of Armuchee High School and received her degree from Lee University, where she was a member of the Ladies of Lee singers. Tonie cherished her family and was devoted to her friends.

She is survived by her husband of ten years, John J. Hall; sons Tyler Prickett and Billy Thompson; daughter Kristen Thompson; mother Joann Pirkle Green; brother and sister-in-law Terry and Tammy Green; and grandchildren Price Thompson and Lexie Thompson.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 26, 2025, from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at 3:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home with Eddie Brannon, Glenda Coffin, John J. Hall, and Tyler Prickett officiating.
