Virginia “Jenny” Temples, 75, of Fairmount, Georgia, passed away on Friday, May 2, 2025. She was born on September 21, 1949, in Austell, Georgia, to the late Fred William Reddish Sr. and Gladys Bernice Land Reddish. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Freddie (Joyce) Reddish, Jerry Reddish, David Reddish, Paul Reddish; sister, Carol (Ronnie) Alexander.
Jenny is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Ricky Lynn Temples; daughters, Donna (Willard) Griffin, Renee Collins (Glenn Childers), Shonda Schutz (Joshua Bradford); sisters in law, Sandra Reddish, Peggy Reddish; grandchildren, Jessica Neal, Joseph Griffin, Marie Maine, Samantha Murphy, Iva Collins, Hannah Trippe, Andrew Dodson, Abby Schutz, Steven Ross, Allyson Ross, and Ethan Rampley; great-grandchild, Savannah, Brendon, Owen, Carolina, Taylor, Hunter, Matthew, Cole, Daylin, Keeley, Lyric, Elijah, Everliegh, Rider, Sylvia, Madilyn, Evelyn, Kaiden.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Oak Hill Baptist Church.
A funeral service will follow on Wednesday at 1:00 PM from Oak Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Reggie Temples, Rev. George Gray, and Rev. David Temples officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers serving are Andrew Dodson, Ethan Rampley, Joshua Bradford, Brandon Reddish, Jacob Peppers, and Scott Reddish.
