NWS Weekend Weather Update

The warming trend will continue this weekend, with near-record highs expected on Saturday. Atlanta's records for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday are slightly lower than nearby sites, therefore if a daily record falls it will most likely be in Atlanta.

Low relative humidity and gusty winds mean fires that develop could spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is strongly discouraged today.
