NWS Weather for Saturday: A line of storms currently pushing through northern and western Georgia will continue southeastward through early afternoon. Straight-line winds and frequent lightning are the primary hazards. Later this afternoon into the evening, scattered storms will develop across central Georgia (ahead of the front created by this line of storms). Storms later today will be capable of damaging winds and hail. The overall tornado threat is low, but not zero.
