The Gordon County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing man last seen early Sunday morning.
Jeremy Peebles, 45, was reported missing at approximately 1:30 p.m. today. According to authorities, he voluntarily left his residence on foot around 2:00 a.m. and was last seen in the area of 1386 U.S. Highway 41 North, near Calhoun.
Peebles is described as 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing around 200 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie, either jeans or khakis, and white athletic shoes.
Anyone with information regarding Peebles’ whereabouts is urged to contact the Gordon County Sheriff’s Office or call 911 immediately.
The Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate and is hopeful that community assistance will help bring Peebles home safely.
